Translating Culture, Tradition and Magic
When I joined Cocar's design team, the brand still lacked a clear visual identity, making it difficult to build a cohesive image. Our goal was to refine and establish a visual system aligned with the products and strengthen the brand’s digital presence.
My vision for Cocar’s visual identity was to capture the feeling of exploring the forest’s mysterious beauty and turn it into an engaging narrative.
I wanted to connect people to the region’s richness while honoring the brand’s commitment to culture and tradition.
The Colors Of The Rivers
I focused on capturing every detail that reflected the true essence of the forest. I wanted each color and texture to create the visceral feeling of being there, immersed in nature, breathing in the forest’s humidity.
For the main colors, I chose earthy, deep tones that recall some of the region’s iconic places and feelings. Like the dark and beige hues of the rivers that create the Meeting of Waters, and subtle deep greens that capture the vastness and mystery of the forest.
From Concept to Reality
I prioritized using photographic materials as backgrounds in most designs, maintaining a consistent editorial style that felt both raw and refined to help tell the story. Sometimes, I enhanced these images with manipulation to highlight elements like the play of light or the depth of the landscape.
I also added texture overlays inspired by patterns of tree roots and the inside of trunks to bring rhythm and flow to the designs. This symbolized how everything in the Amazon, and within Cocar’s product basket, is deeply connected.






Expanding the
Brand Experience
I also expanded this concept across Cocar’s events, designing stands and adapting the visual identity for many different formats, such as display totems, exhibition booths, and packaging.
