Welcome To The End
Of The World
The goal was to make the event even bigger and more realistic, expanding the Midnight Madness universe.
Another story was created, with easter eggs that connected to other editions and the real worls, along with intricate details, such as the virus that destroyed the world and brought zombies to that universe.
The party would take place whithin the ruins of a laboratory with a Toxic Core aesthetic, featuring elements of biological hazard and an atmosphere of pollution and contamination.
Flamini Laboratories (Lake Estrella Div.), 2033
Many years after the events of 1986, Flamini Laboratories had taken control of all the surroundings of Lake Estrella, conducting controversial experiments.
Dr. Beni Cardanzo, driven by greed, sought to discover an intracellular parasite and its potential threats. However, an investigation by reporter Marcela Cometa uncovered the atrocities at the laboratory, sparking a protest that led to the leak of harmful materials into the lake, including Cardanzo's infectious agent, which contaminated the entire region’s water supply.
Artifacts Of The Outbreak
Pamphlets, stickers, and warnings were designed to bring the narrative to life, along with the newspaper article that became the symbol of the event containing easter eggs of next locations to be explored in the MM universe.
To make the situation feel more real, I wrote a clinical case sent along with the invitation, as if it were a leak of information detailing all the phases and symptoms of the pathogen. All of this was designed with the visual identity created for the Flamini Laboratories.

First Signs Of Contamination
The invitation was crafted as a sensory experience, where it was sealed with a protective wrapper that, when opened, released a green slime. This created the feeling of contamination as the guest opened the invitation, helping them connect more deeply to the narrative.
The party was designed to take place in three enviroments: an anbadoned lab, a sewer, and a quarantine center.
The lighting was set with black lights, highlighting the neon costumes and makeup. Green spotlights and smoke machines created the contaminated lake.
"Keep on dancing 'til the world ends"
The music was a tribute to the golden era of early 2010s pop, known for its bold, edgy sound. With heavy beats, distorted synths, and strong EDM influences. Tracks from artists like Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Kesha defined the setlist and helped shape the party’s pulsing energy.
